A Seaside Adventure: Head to Margate

Margate in the 1890's
For this week's Yumi blog, I decided to write up my experiences of an utterly unique coastal town. I have lived near to the once-a-traditional holiday resort for Londoners, Margate for 17 years and have seen first-hand the ups and downs of its urbanisation. Yet I think it has become and is still becoming a wonderfully hip place to be, with attractions such as vintage clothing and bijou gift-selling shops, funky cafes and an untouched golden beach complete with old-school wooden swings. Check out the link for my highlights of this cute little maritime town. And if you do decide to go, take plenty of change for 99's!
